User settings allow you to completely customize your communication preferences and call handling. In this guide, you’ll learn how to access your configuration page and manage all your available options to perfectly tailor your experience.
Configuring your user settings
1. Access the settings page
Start by navigating to the user profile you want to configure.
Go to your Users page.
Click on Edit for the specific user.
Go to the Settings page.
2. Configure call handling and forwarding
Set up how you want to make and receive your daily calls.
Outgoing number: Choose the default number you will use to call. You can also apply this number to other users.
Call forwarding: Choose to forward your calls (either missed calls or all calls). You will then need to select a destination: a user, a group, an IVR, or an external number.
Ring duration: Set the exact time in seconds it will ring.
Call waiting: Enable this so the queue call and the wait list will appear to the user.
Record by default: Ensure all calls will be automatically recorded.
Manual recording disclosure: When clicking on ‘Record’ during an active call, a voice announcement will be played to notify the other party.
Business hours: Choose your time availability during the week.
Snooze: Authorize the user to use the snooze function for temporary pauses.
Voicemail: Choose what the caller hears (a greeting and a message, a greeting only, or nothing).
Go to voicemail if offline: If you are not available, the caller will be automatically directed to the voicemail.
Notifications: Choose whether or not to receive notifications for all missed calls, voicemail messages only, or none.
SIP: Find your SIP password and username to look at and copy (How to activate the SIP Controller).
🎉 You now know how to access and configure your user settings and can fully optimize your communication workflow!
