Enabling your microphone in Google Chrome
1. Grant initial microphone access
Allow Ringover to use your audio device when you first log in.
- Go to your Ringover account and activate the microphone.
- Look for the pop-up in the top-right corner of your screen.
- Select "Allow while visiting the site" to let Ringover use the microphone on Chrome.
2. Reset page permissions
If the pop-up window does not appear or you receive an error message, you can manually reset your settings.
- Go to the top left of your page (near the URL).
- Click on "Reset permissions".
- Refresh the page.
- Grant microphone access so your device is detected and enable it.
3. Troubleshoot microphone issues
If you are still experiencing microphone issues, try these additional checks to isolate the problem.
Chrome settings
- Click the lock icon next to the URL, select Site settings, locate the Microphone, and set it to Allow.
- Click the three dots in Chrome, go to Settings > Privacy and security > Site settings > Microphone, and choose your preferred input device.

- Click the microphone icon at the bottom left of the Ringover dialer.
