Create and customize audio messages in your IVR

1. Access the audio message settings

Before creating your message, open the visual IVR builder to locate the specific step where you want the audio to play.

2. Select the IVR you want to modify.
3. Click on the scenario you want to modify.
4. Click on "Create your message" at the stage where you want to add it.

You can choose between creating an automated text-to-speech recording or recording your own voice directly.

Option A: Use text-to-speech

1. Activate the "Add text" option.
2. Choose your preferred language and voice from the dropdown menu.

3. Configure background music and loop intervals

1. Activate the option to add background music.
2. Click the play icon to listen to the pre-loaded music options before choosing.
3. You can upload your own music file.
4. Go to your music to select your own files downloaded.
5. Adjust the Wait time before message starts to delay the announcement if needed.
6. Configure the repeat message settings and message loop interval to determine how often the message replays.
7. Toggle the option to stop background music at the end of the message on or off.

Pre-listening to the background music ensures the volume and tone match your brand's voice before you finalize the configuration.

4. Name and save your audio message

Always check your configuration and give your message a recognizable name before saving it to your phone system.

1. Click on Preview to listen to your completed message and background music combination.
2. Enter a name for your custom audio message so you can easily identify and reuse it later.
3. Check the message in your IVR step.
