Cadence grants permission to import leads from Bullhorn. This document is about how you can import leads through some simple steps.

Getting started with importing the Leads

To import the leads to Cadence, there are a few steps. The steps are as follows

Step 1: Go to the Cadence page > Click on any Cadence.

Step 2: Inside the Cadence, go to the section Contacts. Click the option Import.

Step 3: There are a few different import options available once you select the import button.

You will be directed to the Bullhorn CRM. Click on the menu on the left-hand side of your screen.

Go to the contacts/candidates section to import them.
After that, you will be taken to the contact list page.
Click on any contact that you want to import and go inside the contact overview page. Click on the Add to Cadence button at the top of the screen.
After that, you will be taken to the cadence import page, and now you need to click on the Select cadence button to select the cadence where you want to import the contact.
Select any cadence from the dropdown menu from the three different sections: Recent, Personal, and Company.
After selecting the cadence, click on the Add button on the right-hand side of the corner.
After the contact is added, you will see the success modal. Click on the Back to Cadence button.
Import from Excel: The next option to import the contacts in Bullhorn is Import from Excel. To continue with this option, click on the particular button.
After that, the import modal will open on your screen. There are two options available. You can choose according to your preference.
- Leads exist in Bullhorn: In this option, your .csv file contains leads that are already present in Bullhorn and hence your activities can be synced with your CRM.
- Leads do not exist in Bullhorn: In this option, your.csv file contain leads that are not present in Bullhorn, and hence your activities cannot be synced with your CRM. You can, however, export them to your CRM through our tool.

Then, from the dropdown, choose from the three alternatives: Leads, Contacts, Candidates, and then click on the Browse file button.
After browsing the file on your device, click on the Import Leads button.

After that, you will be directed to the field mapping page where you need to click on the Import button.
After that, you will be taken to the import page. Click on the Add button on the top right corner of your screen.
After the import process is successful, you will see a modal showing that the import process is complete and how many leads have been imported.
Importing contacts and candidates follows the same procedure as importing leads.
Import from Google Sheets: The next option to import the contacts in Bullhorn is Import from Google Sheets. To continue with this option, click on the particular button.
Next up, you need to enter the URL of the Google Sheets in the specific field. A sample Google Sheet will be provided for your reference.
Click on the Import Leads button.
Now you will be directed to the field mapping. Click on the Import Leads button.
After that, you will be taken to the import page. Now click on the Add button to import the leads.

After the import process is successful, you will see a modal showing that the import process is complete. Click on the Back to cadence button.
Import from filter view: The next option to import the contacts in Bullhorn is Filterview. To continue with this option, click on the particular button.
After you click on the option you will be directed to the import page where you need to select the filter view. Click on the Select filter view option.
After clicking on the button, there are three different alternatives that are Leads, Contacts, and Candidates. Select any one of your preferences and click on the interview you want to select.
After selecting the filter view, all the leads in the particular filter view will appear on your screen, click on the Add button.
Next, click on Start importing.
After the leads are imported, you will see a success modal on your screen.
The import process for Contacts and Candidates is as same as the leads.
