Let's find out the reasons
There can be many reasons for lead to become a hot lead. By assigning points to the prospect’s actions, you can create a score for your leads. The actions are:
- Despite the fact that we are only completing the actions from the People page, the task page quick view also displays the factors that led to a lead becoming a hot lead.
1) Email Opened: If the lead opens the email received by a Cadence user, it will increase the lead's score.
- Step 1: To find out this action as a reason for the lead scoring you can go to the People page and click on the available Hot lead.
- Step 2: After that do head over to the hot lead icon and click on the eye button.
- Step 3: When you click the eye button, a modal window will appear explaining why the selected lead is a hot lead. In this instance, the modal will display that the lead has opened the email, and in addition, you may see the lead's scoring points on the right side, here the point is 1k points.
2) Email clicked: When a user adds a custom link in the mail and sends it to the inbox of the lead and the lead clicks on the particular link, points are added to the lead.
- Step 1: To find out if this action is a reason for the lead scoring, you can go to the People page and click on the available Hot lead.
- Step 2: After that do head over to the hot lead icon and click on the eye button.
- Step 3: When you click the eye button, a modal window will appear explaining why the selected lead is a hot lead. In this instance, the modal will display that the lead has clicked the email, and in addition, you may see the lead's scoring points on the right side, here the point is +1.
3) Email Replied: If the email sent by the Cadence user gets a reply from the lead, then that will add some points to the lead.
- Step 1: To find out this action as a reason for the lead scoring you can go to the People page and click on the available Hot lead.
- Step 2: After that do head over to the hot lead icon and click on the eye button.
- Step 3: When you click the eye button, a modal window will appear explaining why the selected lead is a hot lead. In this instance, the modal will display that the lead has replied to the email, and in addition, you may see the lead's scoring points on the right side; here, the point is +20 points.
4) Incoming Call Received: If an incoming call is received from the lead's end, this action would add some points to the lead.
- Step 1: To find out this action as a reason for the lead scoring, you can go to the People page and click on the available Hot lead.
- Step 2: After that do head over to the hot lead icon and click on the eye button.
- Step 3: When you click the eye button, a modal window will appear explaining why the selected lead is a hot lead. In this instance, the modal will display that the lead has received an incoming call, and in addition, you may see the lead's scoring points on the right side, here the point is +10 points.
5) SMS Link Clicked: If the lead clicks the SMS custom link sent by the Cadence user, the lead is given points.
- Step 1: To find out this action as a reason for the lead scoring, you can go to the People page and click on the available Hot Lead.
- Step 2: After that do head over to the hot lead icon and click on the eye button.
- Step 3: When you click the eye button, a modal window will appear explaining why the selected lead is a hot lead. In this instance, the modal will display that the lead has clicked on the SMS link, and in addition, you may see the lead's scoring points on the right side, here the point is +20.
6) Outgoing Call Duration >= A time threshold can be set for incoming calls. When a lead receives an outgoing call from the user and the duration of the call exceeds the time limit specified in the field, the lead is given a point.
- Step 1: To find out this action as a reason for the lead scoring, you can go to the People page and click on the available Hot lead.
- Step 2: After that do head over to the hot lead icon and click on the eye button.
- Step 3: When you click the eye button, a modal window will appear explaining why the selected lead is a hot lead. In this instance, the modal will display that the lead has made an outgoing call, and in addition, you may see the lead's scoring points on the right side, here the point is +2 points.
7) Demo Booked: Demo bookings happen via the interface and using Calendly links. If the user does it from the interface, points are added to the lead if the demo is booked successfully
- Step 1: To find out this action as a reason for the lead scoring, you can go to the People page and click on the available Hot lead.
- Step 2: After that do head over to the hot lead icon and click on the eye button.
- Step 3: When you click the eye button, a modal window will appear explaining why the selected lead is a hot lead. In this instance, the modal will display that the user has booked a demo and in addition, you may see the lead's scoring points on the right side, here the point is +10 points
8) Status Update: There are two types of status updates:
- Contact status update
- Lead status update
Both the Contact status update and the Lead status update will display the lead scoring reason: We have the same four different lead status variations in both sorts of status updates:
- Closed - Converted: In this instance, the lead does not become a hot lead.
- Closed -Not Converted: In this instance, the lead does not become a hot lead.
- Open - Not Contacted: In this instance, the lead does not become a hot lead.
- Working - Contacted: In this instance, the modal will display the status Working -Connected, you may see the lead's scoring points on the right side, here the point is +1k points.
