Getting started with Owner Reassignment:
About: Cadence gives you the chance to reassign the owner in Cadence, the change of owner will be reflected in the connected CRM as well.

Both the previous owner and the new owner should be present in the cadence and the CRM
Getting started with Owner Reassignment:
Step 1: Go to the People tab, inside any cadence.
Step 2: Select the people by clicking on it and click on the option Owner reassignment.
Step 3: In the next step, you will be directed to the owner reassignment page. You can select the new owner from the drop-down in the option Select new user. All the available options will be visible after you click on them.
Step 4: The button located directly to the right of the new owner drop-down allows you to specify how many leads you want to change ownership of.
You can add more than one new owner just by clicking on the plus icon.
Step 5: If you've chosen many new owners, you can just toggle on the Automatic Distribution option, and it will divide up the leads among the new owners. To change the new owners' lead distribution, simply click the Reassign icon in the top right corner of the screen.
(Note: If you are the owner of a cadence, you can change that ownership.
You are unable to alter the cadence's ownership while it belongs to someone else.)
After this process is done, you will be able to see a pop-up saying that the reassignment is in progress. After some time, the owner will be reassigned.
Changes after the owner is reassigned:
There are a few changes that happen after the owner is reassigned:

The lead will be removed from the previous owner’s account.

The lead will be visible on the people page of the new owner account.

The lead will be removed from the personal cadence of the previous owner, but it will be visible in the company cadence.

An activity will be created on the people page of the new owner.

Q. Why can't I add a new owner?
Ans: You cannot add more new owners than the number of leads available because each new owner should have at least one lead to reassign. Otherwise, you will get an error message.
Q. If only one new owner is selected, does the Automatic Distribution button still function?
Ans: Yes, it still functions even if only one new owner is selected.
Q. Can we reassign multiple owners with different leads at the same time?
Ans: For any company cadence, we can reassign multiple owners with different leads at the same time. At that time such sections will be formed for each current owner as given in the image.
Q. What will happen if we select all leads and contacts at a time for reassigning?
Ans: If we select all leads and contacts at a time for reassigning, there will be a toggle of leads and contacts from where we can reassign them respectively.
