Contact Integration Status:
About:
This document provides step-by-step instructions on how to set and manage contact statuses in the context of CRM integration. Cadence allows its Admins and Super admins to set their desired integration status for contacts, just like Lead and Account integration status.
Prerequisites:
- A specific webhook needs to be defined for each custom integration state.
Steps to set Contact Status:
Now let's see how to set the status for contacts:
Step 1: Go to CRM sync and field mapping on the Settings page.
Step 2: Scroll down to Fields for accounts and contacts and click on the Edit option.
Step 3: On this page, under the section Contacts, search for the Salesforce field called Status.
Step 4: Drag and drop the Salesforce field to the Cadence field called Integration Status.
Step 5: Click on the small Edit button.
Step 6: You can see the Configure Contact integration Status modal. The Disqualification status must now be selected from the dropdown. From the list of choices, you can select any of those.
Step 7: You can add any reason to any Disqualification status, allowing the user to select any of them for selecting the status. The reasons need to be manually entered.
Step 8: Next, you need to select the Conversion status from the dropdown.
Step 9: Custom Status can be added for contacts. Simply click the Add Custom button, choose Status, and enter the reasons as they appear in the image.
Step 10: Multiple custom statuses can be added for contacts. Up to the number of statuses that are available in the Select Status field, you can create a custom status. A specific status can only be used once.
Step 11: Click on Save on that modal, and then click Save on the top right corner of the screen.
Note: By simply toggling this button in this modal, you may define any integration status as the default integration status for Contact.
