Configuring time slots in a Ringover phone system allows you to automate the management of incoming calls based on your opening hours, closing times, and user availability. Here's a step-by-step guide to creating and managing these scenarios effectively.
Prerequisites:
- You must have a Ringover Business or Advanced account to access this feature
1. Access the phone system configuration
💻 Go to your Dashboard Configuration Phone systems and click on the "edit" button of the system you want to modify 🖊️
2. Create or modify a time slot
In the Time Planning section, you can configure time slots by day of the week.
➕ Add a time slot
Click on the "+" icon that appears when hovering over a day. A pop-up window will open offering:
- Open: Time slot where the system is active.
- Create a new scenario: To configure a custom scenario.
- And users: Already assigned specific slots.
📌 You can choose an existing scenario or create a new one with specific settings.
Set time slot hours
- Adjust the times using the sliders (e.g.: 09:00 to 18:00 for "Open").
- To add another slot on the same day (e.g.: 09:00–12:00 then 14:00–18:00), click again on "+" and repeat the process.
- The blue color represents open hours, and red for time slots assigned to specific users.
3. Quickly apply slots
Thanks to quick options available via the three dots "⋯" to the right of a day, you can:
- Apply to the whole week: Duplicates the defined hours to all other days.
- Remove all scenarios for this day: Deletes the day's time slots.
- Copy/Paste: Useful to replicate a configuration from one day to another.
