About:
Using the extension, Cadence enables users to export prospects directly from LinkedIn.
Exporting prospects through LinkedIn:
To export the prospects in Cadence, you must adhere to the instructions below.
Step 1: Log in to your LinkedIn account, search for the name of your choice in the search bar, and click on the People tab.
After that, you will be able to see all the search results related to your search.
Step 2: After that, click on the LinkedIn extension icon at the top right corner of the screen.
Step 3: The LinkedIn extension modal will then appear on your screen, and the URL for the search result will be fetched and displayed in the field called LinkedIn URL. The next field is called Export as, and you have to choose between two options, Leads, and contacts.
(The field Export as may have different types of prospects, which may vary from CRM to CRM. For example, in Pipedrive, it's called Person; in Bullhorn, it’s called Candidates, Contacts and Leads.)
Step 4: In the next field called Number Leads, enter the number of leads you want to export.
Step 4: Click on the Export to Cadence button.
Step 5: This popup will open when you click the export to Cadence button, informing you that the leads have been extracted and advising you to wait.
Step 6: After the leads are exported, this confirmation pop-up will appear on your screen. Click on the Open Import page button. Additionally, you will receive an email that you may use to access the cadence page.
Step 7: Following that, Cadence's import page will be displayed to you.
You can choose the number of leads you wish to import on this page. Click on them to select them.
After you select the leads, some options will be available on your screen. You will have two different alternatives for importing the leads,
- CRM: If you choose to import the leads only to the specific CRM (in this case Salesforce), you do not have to select the cadence; just select the CRM and click on the Add prospect button.
- CRM and Cadence: If you choose to import the leads to the specific CRM (in this case, Salesforce) and cadence, click on the options for Salesforce and Cadence.
Step 8: Now just select the cadence from the dropdown.
Step 9: Click on the Add prospect button.
You will be able to see the success status once the leads have been successfully imported. You can add a maximum of 1000 leads.
- (Note: If a prospect does not have a company name (which is a required field) at the time of importing, a warning button will appear on the import page.
- After clicking on the button, the specific lead where the company name is missing is displayed on the warning modal.
- Therefore, make sure to add the company name in the leads where this field is missing.)
