Prerequisite:
- Your Ringover account should be logged in.
- Your desired CRM connection should be connected to your Cadence account.
- In Add-ons reconfiguration, fields need to be mapped correctly
Download the LinkedIn Extension:
Step 1: Go to the Settings page> My connection.
Step 2: Scroll down to the LinkedIn section.
Step 3: Click on the Install LinkedIn Extension button and add the extension from the Chrome store.

Step 4 [*Recommended]: After the extension has been successfully downloaded, pin it from the browser extension settings.
Step 5: Now, go to the LinkedIn profile, click the LinkedIn Extension, and click on Log in with your Ringover.
Step 6: After you complete the process of logging in to the LinkedIn extension successfully, you will be directed to a page where you can see this message. To continue with the process, click on the Go back to LinkedIn button, and it will redirect you to the LinkedIn profile.
Update cookie in cadence:
You may update the cookie, right from the LinkedIn Extension.
Step 1: Go to the Cadence Extension menu and select the Update cookie in the Cadence option.
Step 2: Now, Your cookie will get updated on the Cadence Settings page automatically.
Exporting a lead/contact from LinkedIn Extension
You can choose whether you want a lead to be stored in CRM or both in CRM and Cadence. Let’s read more about them:
Export lead/contact to only CRM
(For example, adding the prospect only in Salesforce but not in cadence)
Step 1: Go to any LinkedIn profile and open the cadence LinkedIn extension.
Step 2: After that, all the account information will be fetched automatically. You can edit that information manually also. Now scroll down to Export To and select Salesforce.
Step 3: After Selecting the export type, i.e. lead or contact, click Export prospect.
Step 4: This would create a lead/contact page for that prospect in Salesforce. It will not add any cadence.
Export lead/contact to both CRM and Cadence
(For example, adding the prospect in Salesforce and Cadence)
Step 1: Go to any LinkedIn profile and open the cadence LinkedIn extension.
Step 2: Scroll down to Export To and select Salesforce and Cadence.
Step 3: Select export type i.e. lead or contact.
Step 4: You can just select the cadence in which you want to store that lead.
Step 5: Click Export prospect when you are done.
Step 6: Now, a lead/contact page will be created for that prospect in Salesforce. Also, the lead will get added to the selected cadence.

Selection of company name :
While selecting the account this allows the user to select the company name from not only LinkedIn but also from Salesforce. If there is a company already created in this specific user's Salesforce account, the LinkedIn extension permits selecting that company as well.
- Cadence offers the convenience of manually registering a company name, which is particularly useful for creating a new company in CRM when the desired company is not already listed in the profile.
Add-on tools in LinkedIn Extension:
You can also use Add-on tools like Lusha, Kaspr, Hunter, etc. in order to store a lead full of useful information.
Prerequisites
- Admin/Super Admin must have given permission.
- Admin/Super The admin has enabled the use of add-on tools in LinkedIn Extension.
Using Add-ons
Step 1: Visit any LinkedIn profile that you want to add as the lead in cadence.
Step 2: Open the Cadence LinkedIn extension. You will get multiple add-on tools on the top right, to enrich data from your LinkedIn profile.
